Lacrosse is not a UIL sport in Texas and is instead operated as a "club sport".  Lamar Women's Lacrosse is a club which is affiliated with Lamar High School, however as a non-UIL sport we do not receive financial support from HISD and therefore rely on fees, fundraisers and donations to cover operating expenses.  The club is managed by a Board of Directors which is comprised of parent volunteers.  Lamar Women's Lacrosse is registered as a 502(c)(3) non-profit organization and contributions to Lamar Women's Lacrosse are tax-deductible to the extent permitted by law.
